    The Endomyocardial Biopsy Forceps are radiopaque, handle-held and manually operated devices. It is actuated using a three-ring plastic handle. The spring in the handle maintains the jaws in a normally closed position. The thumb ring, at the proximal end, rotates to accommodate any thumb position. It has a flexible metal coil or plastic tube with a pair of scissors-like cups with cutting edges around their rims at the distal end which are operated by a handle attached at proximal end.
