The Jawz Endomyocardial Biopsy Forceps are precisely designed to provide a cleanly cut specimen every time.

The Endomyocardial Biopsy Forceps are radiopaque, handle-held and manually operated devices. It is actuated using a three-ring plastic handle. The spring in the handle maintains the jaws in a normally closed position. The thumb ring, at the proximal end, rotates to accommodate any thumb position. It has a flexible metal coil or plastic tube with a pair of scissors-like cups with cutting edges around their rims at the distal end which are operated by a handle attached at proximal end.

The TLAB® Transjugular Liver Biopsy Instrument is designed to perform consistently in typical and tortuous anatomy, collect quality liver samples, and enhance patient and physician safety.

Patented Flexcore® technology helping the needle to conform to the curvature of the sheath, TLAB easily navigates and collects samples at typical or acute angles. The Tru-Track™ trocar tip and a fully exposed sample notch combine for a straight needle trajectory and maximum sample yield that’s unmatched by the competition. The TLAB includes a safety funnel for quick and easy loading and reloading of the needle into the sheath while reducing the risk of an inadvertent needle stick. Plus, the TLAB kit includes unique swab sticks to efficiently remove a sample from the notch while keeping a user’s hands away from the needle.

A 22mm throw with a 19mm sample notch harvests diagnostic quality specimens. Each instrument has an echogenic tip for accurate placement under ultrasound guidance. Needles are color coded for easy gauge size determination, which can be seen through the window on the bottom of the device. Tru-Core™ II URO Automatic Biopsy Instrument features needle sizes used specifically for prostate biopsies. Can be used with echogenic co-axial introducer needles.

SuperCore™ Semi-Automatic Biopsy Instrument is a lightweight, adjustable and easily maneuverable biopsy instrument. After setting the cutting cannula spring, the SuperCore™ Instrument may be operated with one hand, leaving the other hand free to manipulate a guidance device; i.e. an ultrasound probe.

Product is packaged with or without a corresponding co-axial introducer needle. The specimen notch is adjustable (19mm or 9.5mm), providing clinical flexibility. The specimen notch may be safely positioned in the lesion before the spring-loaded cutting cannula is fired. Numerically ordered centimeter markings facilitate precise depth placement. Each needle has an echogenic tip on the outer cannula to promote accurate placement under ultrasound guidance.

The BioPince Ultra Full Core Biopsy Instrument is a disposable, automatic biopsy instrument that cuts a full core sample of soft tissue. The instrument is designed to expel the sample upon re-cocking of the instrument which prepares the instrument for taking another sample (i.e., ready to be fired). The instrument has a safety slide, a ready indicator window and two firing trigger buttons.
