The Techna-Cut™ Biopsy Needle is designed to perform simple, reliable biopsies of soft tissue. The trocar stylet allows for easy direct puncture while minimizing tissue damage.

A precise cutting edge on the outer cannula contributes to a complete, intact core specimen. Numerically ordered centimeter markings on the outer cannula provide reference for depth placement. A unique stylet design, combined with a 10cc Luer locking syringe provides vacuum for specimen retention in the outer cannula.

Safe aspirations at the sternum can be performed by adjusting the needle stop to control the depth of penetration. The needle stop can be removed if aspirating at the iliac crest.
