LAKEWOOD, Colo. – February 23, 2023 – Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies today presented the first data from its Quantum Flex platform across multiple bioreactor sizes, demonstrating rapid T-cell expansion to numbers equivalent to a therapeutic dose.
The Quantum Flex Cell Expansion System is designed to provide flexible, automated cell expansion capabilities across a range of bioreactor sizes, supporting cell therapy manufacturers as they scale from research through commercial production.
The newly presented data demonstrate the system's ability to rapidly expand T-cells to clinically relevant, therapeutic-equivalent cell numbers across multiple bioreactor configurations, supporting flexibility for manufacturers at different stages of process development.
