Terumo Aortic Announces FDA Approval of Dissection and Transection Indication Expansion for the RELAY®Pro Stent-graft System in the United States

RENFREW, Scotland – May 5, 2023 – Terumo Aortic, a division of Terumo Corporation, today announced that it has received FDA approval for an expanded indication of the RELAY®Pro Stent-graft System, now including dissection and transection in the United States.

This expanded indication allows physicians in the U.S. to use the RELAY Pro Stent-graft System to treat patients with aortic dissection and traumatic aortic transection, in addition to its previously approved indications, broadening treatment options for these complex conditions.

The RELAY Pro Stent-graft System is designed to treat a range of thoracic aortic diseases, and this expanded indication further strengthens its role as a comprehensive treatment option for physicians in the United States.
